The Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India has announced the exam date for the year 2023 – 24 under the PM Yashaswi Scholarship Scheme, through this scheme students are given scholarships ranging from ₹ 75,000 to ₹ 1,25,000. Exam date of PM Yashaswi Scholarship Scheme 2023 is going to be held on 29 September 2023.
Benefit from PM Yashaswi Yojana
PM Yashaswi Yojana will benefit students from Other Backward Class (OBC), Economically Backward Class (EBC), and Nomadic Tribes (DNT) studying in classes 9 to 12, for this scholarship students will have to appear in the exam. And exam-based students of Class 9 will get Rs 75,000 and Class 11 students will get Rs 1,25,000 per annum.

Eligibility for PM Yashaswi Scholarship Scheme
- Applicant must be an Indian citizen.
- Applicant should belong to Other Backward Class (OBC), Economically Backward Class (EBC), and Nomadic Freed Tribe (DNT) caste.
- The student should be studying in one of the listed schools
- Must have passed Class 8 or Class 10 in 2022-23.
- The annual income limit of the guardian should be 2.5 lakhs.
- Candidates applying for the class 9 examination should be born between 01-04-2007 to 31-03-2011 (both days inclusive)
- Candidates applying for the class 11 examination should have been born between 01-04-2005 to 31-03-2009 (both days inclusive)
- Both boys and girls can apply.
PM YASASVI Yojana Income Limit
- The annual income limit of parent/guardian should be 2.5 lakhs for this scheme.

- Class 9 students are eligible for Rs 75,000 per annum and Class 11 students are eligible for Rs 1,25,000.
