To enter a name in the electoral roll
Hello all friends today we will see how to enter new name in voter list so friends get complete information
Form No-6 has to be filled to enter a new name in the electoral roll. Pay special attention to all the following while filling the form online/offline.
Select the correct assembly in which name is to be entered while filling the online form. If you do not know the name of the assembly, check the name of the assembly written on the back of the election card of a family member or neighbor in detail.
All images to be uploaded must be clearly legible.
Name, Surname, Name of Relative – (Name of Father or Husband) Type of Relationship – (Father/ or Husband), Date of Birth – etc.
Write all the details correctly as per the evidence
Date of Birth, Name Proof – Copy of Birth/LC/Pancard/Passport/Aadhaar Card (In case of post-marriage, add Marriage Certificate or one of the above proofs bearing husband’s name)
Proof of Residence – Current Lightbill/Verabill in own or family member’s name, (Rental agreement mandatory in case of rented house),
Photo-, (Attach passport size photo) (Do not attach selfie photo)
Compulsory writing of Election Card Number of family member or neighbor in detail with family,
Mandatory entry of xerox of previous election card or its number if previously made in the declaration.
It is illegal to have a name in two places on an election card. So first fill the form at the new place after getting name reduction from the old assembly office or from the BLO (Booth Level Officer) of the old residential area. Or showing the old voting card number in the mandatory online form.
